This has been our 5th move in 12 years; we have dealt with a lot of different estate agents in that time! Unfortunately, we had become increasingly disheartened with the estate agency business. Agents promising the earth then back peddling and blaming 'market conditions'. Imagine came to our attention after an agent (Natalie) called at the house soon after it went on the market, and left us with a brochure.............that was it. No bombardment with mail saying they could definitely do better than our current agent; no unwanted return visits pressuring us to change agent.

A couple of months later I called them because I had a feeling they were offering something different. From the start they were flexible, proactive and committed to selling our home. They understood it wasn't straightforward as we lived in the north of England by now and needed to sell, but had loved our home and wanted it to go to the right person!! They offered us a service over and above what we had been used to expecting- meeting us, phoning, or doing viewings in the evenings or on Sundays if required. They placed an article about our home in the local paper after finding out from us what it was like living there. We have spoken to the same agent on an almost daily basis, while other colleagues in the office have been up to speed with our sale, so could always help. They even helped to negotiate a great deal with the builders we were buying from in Yorkshire. We have not been disappointed with Imagine!

Honesty, open communication, a buyer found for our home within 3 months, and even a good deal on our new home! Imagine that!!!!!!!!!!!

Initially we signed up with another agent. After 3 months of advertising and only a couple of viewings to show for it, a door knock from Lindy at Imagine couldn’t have come to us at a better time. After a brief chat on the doorstep we made an appointment to discuss our situation in more detail. At this appointment we begged Imagine not to just tell us what we wanted to hear but to give us some good honest feedback about our house and to tell us how we could make it more saleable. Their advice was delivered in a kind and constructive manner and the alterations recommended didn’t incur us any expense. Having the photos taken by a professional photographer (all included in the service provided by Imagine) made such a huge difference too, our house looked amazing! Before we knew it, prospective buyers were flooding through the door and Lindy was always very prompt and honest in delivering her feedback from the viewers. It didn’t take long before we started receiving offers and eventually we were able to sell our house at a price that was agreeable to us.

This is such a difficult time to be a ‘seller’ in the property market and if it wasn’t for Imagine and especially Lindy, we would have given up a long time ago.
